Minor (major?) setback...

So this afternoon, I decided to modify the apes I welded up.

After I got them back together, they promptly fell apart.

I rushed the welding, this time and before. I dropped the damned thing and they broke in half. I grabbed my mallet and every piece just snapped apart like a twig.

So, I did it again.

The fucker ain't coming apart this time. The welds look like a row of miniature dimes, laid over, side to side. Mostly...

I know the penetration was good this time.

But... now I'm terrified the welds on the frame are shit.

I pounded on it with the mallet, but I couldn't get it to budge, just... dent.

Nevertheless, I am seriously considering cutting out everything I've done and starting over.

Don't know where to begin...
